First: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I have reached my fundraising goal today thanks to all of you, and there are still more donations coming in. I am so happy and thankful. I am about to burst!
Know what else makes me happy? This is off of the loom.
I still have to do the fringe and full it, but the actual weaving part is done, so the last of the scarves can get on the loom. This is what I am thinking for the last scarf:
The warp for it is being wound on my warping mill as I write this. Well, not actually “as” I write this. I am taking a break from winding so that I can write this.
There has been knitting going on, though:
I am calling this my Tannenbaum socks. I want them to say “Merry Christmas” without being limited to only Christmas wear. The color is a little off, but you get the idea.
Also, since I finished the Pride socks, I needed another pair of socks that didn’t require a great deal of brain to knit, thus:
The yarn is from Spirit Trail that I bought at MSWF. Again, the color looks a bit different in person, but the general idea is there. The stitch pattern is from Schurch’s SKS.
Do I sound excited? Because I am. Thank you, again.

Congratulations on making the goal, and for completing the scarf. How was the silk to weave with?
Congratulations! It was a worthy goal for a worth cause.
The fresh off the loom scarf is really nice. Interesting how the color play worked out.
YEAH! Congrats on making your goal and then some!!
That scarf is beautiful!!
I’m glad to hear you met your goal and I can only imagine all the competition for your gorgeous scarves. I love your Tannebaum socks, is this an original design of yours? Your basket weave socks are nice, too, I almost thought it was Claudia Handpainted yarn. Good luck with your race!
Congratulations!
Awesome job on the weaving! I just love the latest scarf you finished!
Congrats also on making your goal!
Those Spirit Trail socks are very pretty! I have a friend who did a pair in a similar stitch pattern and they looked great, too.
Glad you’re excited!!
